Dierk Blomeier: Over 24 years experience as a specialist on Jurassic to Devonian bio- and lithofacies ~ Application of biofacies recognition in biosteering of underbalanced coil tube drilling wells of the Khuff reservoir, Saudi Arabia ~ Field crew member of Comoro Islands (Indian Ocean) and Jebel Bou Dahar carbonate platform (High Atlas, Morocco) expeditions ~ Field team leader of numerous Devonian, Carboniferous, Permian and Triassic expeditions to Spitsbergen.

 

Zayad Al-Zayer: Over 3 years industrial experience mostly gained at wellsite, biosteering underbalanced coil tube drilling wells of the Khuff reservoir, Saudi Arabia and wellsite biostratigraphic monitoring of complex sedimentary geology, providing ‘real-time’ formation picks and stratigraphic correlation, Red Sea.

 

Thin-section Technician:

 

Mike Rickarby: Highly experienced at rapid thin-section production and routine micropalaeontological preparations at wellsite (West Africa and the Middle East). Wellsite thin-section laboratory set-up and supervision and training of thin-section technicians.
